Teen, 17, hurt when truck driver rams into parked car, San Carlos home

SAN CARLOS PARK, FL – A driver of a truck crashed into a parked car with three young ladies inside and then into a home, injuring one of the occupants, a 17-year-old girl, in the process.

This incident took place on Coral Drive on Tuesday, according to NBC-2. First responders took the teenage girl to a local hospital, where she is recovering from minor wounds.

While the contributing factor has not been confirmed, authorities suspect that the pickup truck driver may have suffered a medical episode, leading them to lose control of their vehicle before striking the car and colliding with the home.
