Motorcyclist killed in left-turn collision with SUV in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, FL – A motorcyclist succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene after striking the side of an SUV turning left Monday.

This crash was reported around 8 p.m. at the Ashley Melisse Boulevard and Kernan Boulevard North junction, News4Jax reported.

The SUV driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has started an investigation but has not released additional details other than confirming that intoxication played no part in this crash.
