Hit-and-run crash in Miami claims 71-year-old woman’s life

MIAMI, FL – A 71-year-old woman’s life was claimed after being intentionally run over by a driver Thursday.

The hit-and-run crash took place before 6 a.m. in the area of SW 27th Ave. and SW 22nd Terrace, Local 10 reported.

Miami Police said the woman was walking and was hit by a car. The driver, they said, reviewed the video footage, which showed the driver hitting the pedestrian “intentionally” and with malice.

The pedestrian’s name and identity have not been released.
