FHP summoned to semi, trash truck collisions on I-10

JACKSONVILLE, FL – Florida Highway Patrol were called to the scene of two separate collisions that involved a semi-truck and a trash truck Friday.

The tractor-trailer collision took place on the I-10 East near Hammond Boulevard, and the semi-truck accident happened on I-10 East near Edgewood Avenue, First Coast News reported.

Florida Highway Patrol had to close a large portion of the eastbound lanes, starting along I-295 and ending at Lane Avenue, before later reopening them all.

No injuries have been reported.
