How can I get compensation for an accident at work?

Return to FAQ Videos

Transcript:

If involved in an accident while working, that is not your fault, you are probably covered with Workers Compensation coverage. The first thing is to get medical treatment, and you must report to your employer within 30 days. Look into whether they were working, Uninsured Motorist coverage, or assets. Speak to a Pendas Law attorney ASAP because there are rights you give up as time goes on, and the details are critical. Be open and honest with your attorney, about the events of the accident.

Even if fault does not come into play, you should still be covered in making the report immediately.

Pendas Law attorneys keep the details confidential and they have decades of experience. The more information we have, the better advice we can give you. The worst thing a client can do is to hire us and then cherry pick what details they share with us. Insurance companies maintain databases for every claimed accident.
