Mr. Benchimol was born in Miami, Florida, as a first-generation Brazilian-American. He attended Florida International University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Mr. Benchimol earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Florida Coastal School of Law located in Jacksonville, Florida.

While attending law school, Mr. Benchimol worked as a certified legal intern with the State Attorney’s Office in Miami. After his admission to the Florida Bar, he began his legal career with the Public Defender’s Office for the Fourth Judicial Circuit, where he represented over 3,000 clients and conducted various jury trials with criminal charges ranging from petit theft to attempted murder. After many years at the Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Benchimol relocated to Orlando, FL where he began representing those injured through the negligence of others at a large national law firm. In March of 2021, Mr. Benchimol joined The Pendas Law Firm believing high respect for each and every client along with knowledgeable representation yield favorable experiences and outcomes for those in need of legal services.

On his free time, Mr. Benchimol enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs, playing golf, creating music, and going to the local theme parks.
