Matthew Smith

Matthew T. Smith has lived most of his life in the Central Florida area, including his formative years and the course of his education. He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, and attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor with Magna Cum Laude honors. While in law school, Matthew served as an executive board member of the Federal Bar Association – Student Division, Assistant Articles Editor for Law Review, and member of the Christian Legal Society. Finally, he had the esteemed opportunity to act as an intern for a judge in the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court serving Orange County.

After being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2022, Matthew worked at the largest insurance defense firm in the State of Florida. It was there that he handled a multitude of various claims including auto negligence, premises liability and wrongful deaths. Thereafter, he went on to work for one of the most reputable defense firms in Central Florida where he defended some of the largest business found in the State, if not the United States. Now, he happily brings this experience and expertise in representing his community.

Matthew enjoys exercising, reading, dancing, and spending time with his family and friends. He can be found running throughout Orlando in his free time. It is his esteemed pleasure to serve the fellow members of his community and he finds vast enjoyment in applying his skills to obtain the best results for his clients.
